I walked along the busiest path I had ever seen…those streets decorated with gold
Men and women from all countries, all races, with all faces…
My gaze on the beauty… the mansions He promised
At the entry were multitude of many; laughing, crying, wailing, complaining… every expression of emotion I saw.
I asked one why his tears wouldn’t cease… “I promised him my gold and my silver but he would not listen to me. Seven tons of gold that I hid in the forest, just for him to open this gate”.
From another I heard… “I brought my money and laid all at his feet. I brought my safe and opened it before him. I have always saved a tenth of my income since childhood. He wouldn’t even look down on it. But to some retched man with rags the door was widely open”
At the side of the gate was an old one sobbing aloud… “He would not even listen to my prayers. But he said ‘If we ask anything in his name…’ I played my part. All I didn’t do was release my neighbor, the man who defiled my teenage daughter.”
I moved closer and held the gigantic gate… then I asked the man smiling at me, welcoming me. “Sir, did you find my name in your book?”
There shall not enter into it anything defiled or that worketh abomination or maketh a lie: but they that are written in the book of life of the Lamb.
